Triform Presses... the next generation of sheet hydroforming.

Triform Sheet Hydroforming is a forming process which uses a flexible rubber bladder, or diaphragm, backed by hydraulic fluid, to shape sheet material against a single tool. Triform presses offer precision forming of a wide range of part geometries from materials including aluminum, steel, stainless steel, titanium, copper, niobium, Inconel, composites and many others.

The Triform process eliminates the need for expensive matched male/female dies, as the diaphragm acts as a universal die half, conforming to any shape within the forming chamber. This results in significantly decreased tooling costs and, therefore, a lower overall per part cost. Tooling can be made quickly, from a wide variety of materials including steel, aluminum, 3d printed materials, poured epoxies and even hardwood. This ability to rapidly and inexpensively create (or modify) tooling gives Triform users the ability to react quickly to their production needs, at a fraction of the cost and time of alternate processes. It is these unique tooling requirements that make Triform Sheet Hydroforming the go-to technology for short-run production and rapid prototyping.

Triform presses are engineered by Beckwood Press Company, using the latest technology. Modern design software, state-of-the-art hydraulics, and computer-driven controls provide the user with tremendous capability in an intuitive package.
